Glow Plug Light Stays On Toyota Land Cruiser. I can get the glow coil to shut off if i ever so slightly turn the key backwards. I've attached a pic, hzj105 2006. It comes on as usual when i first. I've had a look through the ewd, and rm184e, and rm172e but there's no reference to a glow. Everything seems up to snuff but when installed the problem occurs. What might cause the light to stay on? I recently noticed the glow plug light coming on after the motor had started. Hey guys, i recently fitted new injectors when the cruiser is set to accessory its fine to ut then i start it and drive the glow plug light comes on. Today i was driving my urban cruiser and whilst i was driving the glow plug light came on it was the light which shows just before starting the car, it came on for a few minutes. If you remove the water temperature sensor connector from the sensor, the glow plug light should stay on when you go.
